Including the Cultural Component in Assessment, Treatment Planning, Training
Often professional assessments, treatment

planning, presentations, and other vital

descriptions call for inclusion of cultural

considerations.

Many professionals, despite their skills in the

above activities, are at a loss when confronted

with this area of responsibility. In order to fulfill a

requirement, they include references to ethnicity,

religion, language, etc., overlooking the important

role of culture in understanding and treatment.

I believe considerations of culture should play an

integral, dynamic and useful part in our

appreciation and approach to our professional

activities.

I offer training, coaching and auditing services to

help agencies and individuals become proficient

in their performance in this area.

If I can be of service to you, or the agencies

which you oversee, please contact me.

Thank you.
